British Oak Tanned Leathers

This oak tanned leather is made in Devon, at J&FJ Bakers, the last remaining oak tannery in the UK! The tannery itself dates back to Roman times and uses traditional processes to create this luxury leather, that is known for its richness and durability. The oak tanning process is a long and natural one, taking 12-15 months, meaning each hide can take up to 2 years in total to create.

I'm really excited to be introducing this oak tanned leather into the Core Collection, which will patina into a beautiful brown colour once used and worn.

This vegetable tanned leather is made in La Perla Azzura. Located in the traditional tannery district of Santa Croce sull'Arno, Tuscany, the home of master tanners, whose skills have been passed through generations.
