About Oak Tanned Leather
This oak tanned leather is made in Devon, at J&FJ Bakers, the last remaining oak tannery in the UK! The tannery itself dates back to Roman times and uses traditional processes to create this luxury leather, that is known for its richness and durability. The oak tanning process is a long and natural one, taking 12-15 months, meaning each hide can take up to 2 years in total to create.
I'm really excited to be launching a limited run of items this oak tanned leather which will darken and form a beautiful patina once used and worn.
Available in with either a brass or nickel Sam Browne fixing.
Default location of the monogram is on the back of the envelope, towards the top and centred.
This is a made to order item and will be dispatched within 10-15 working days.
